IT jobs in N.C. up by one-third

The series of inform record pursuit openings in North Carolina jumped by about one-third in Feb compared with the prior month.

The 1,730 jobs posted last month was the majority given Dec 2008, Brooks Raiford, CEO of the N.C. Technology Association, pronounced in a rebuilt statement. The monthly inform is rebuilt for NCTA by SkillPROOF, that focuses on pursuit research.

"The ceiling direction that began in the fourth entertain of 2009 had slipped over the holidays, but seems to have changed strongly behind to growth," Raiford said.

IT pursuit postings statewide were up 63 percent from a year ago. However, the pursuit marketplace was usually 41 percent of what it was in Feb 2008.
